The benefits of a LCHF Diet

I’m a big fan of eating a low-carb, healthy fat diet. I recently underwent training with The Nutrition Network in South Africa on LCHF diets. (Low Carb High Fat). This certification allows the use of LCHF diets in my clinical practice. 


Professor Tim Noakes is one of the world’s leading authorities on the science behind sport and a successful sportsman in his own right. Through a lifetime of research, he has developed key scientific concepts in sport that have not only redefined the way elite athletes and teams approach their professions, but challenged conventional global thinking in these areas. 


His background working with athletes, goes back many years until as a fit, athlete himself, became diabetic; this led him along a new journey of discovering that carbohydrates were not all they were made out to be and he has since developed this LCHF approach and applied this in clinical practice for  a number of health conditions and weight loss patients. 


The application of a LCHF approach can help support your weight loss, health, digestion and immunity. Papers are being published constantly around the subject of ketogenic diets and their application in clinical practice.
